So, I figured I’d give you a good look behind the curtain of why I’m making Little Love Tales. The short version is that I just loved planning my own wedding so much I decided to help other people do the same… But, keep reading if you want the long answer!
Who Am I?
I’ve been married to my wonderful husband Sam for a couple of years now, and let me tell you… planning our wedding was one of the most unexpectedly joyful times of my life.
I always thought I’d enjoy it, but I didn’t realize just how much I’d fall in love with the planning, the creativity, and the celebration of it all.
I mean, I’ll admit to the cliche… I’m one of those girls who always dreamed of her wedding. What it’d look like, what my dress would be, the bouquet… And most importantly, who’d be waiting for me at the end of the isle.
But those were just dreams! When I did it for real, I couldn’t believe it was as fun as I’d hoped.
Before that, I’d always loved hosting little parties… holiday get-togethers, birthday brunches, backyard barbecues.
I grew up in a big, loud, love-filled family, where any excuse for a cookout or celebration was a good one. I learned early on that when people come together to celebrate, something special happens.
But it wasn’t until I planned my own wedding that I discovered how much I adore the entire event-planning process.
Picking the colors. Dreaming up the theme. Choosing songs that make your heart flutter. I couldn’t get enough.
Why Am I Making This Blog?
Little Love Tales is my happy place now. It’s a space where I can share everything I’ve learned (and am still learning!) about planning meaningful, beautiful weddings… without all the pressure.
I think the pressure of actual event planning isn’t quite for me. So, instead I want to compile as many ideas, themes, how-to’s and resources into one place as I can, so people can enjoy planning their own wedding for themselves.
I created this blog as an outlet for my passion and as a way to help others enjoy their own wedding journey.
I know how overwhelming it can feel at first… but it doesn’t have to stay that way! I believe wedding planning should be filled with laughter, love, and that little flutter in your chest when something just feels right.
My goal is to help you stress less, celebrate more, and soak up every special moment along the way.
